Diplomático Rum secures duty free listings
Venezuelan brand Diplomático Rum has launched in six major airports in the US and Europe, at the same time as announcing plans to expand to 25 airports by the end of 2016.
Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva launches in six new airportsThe brand rolled out its flagship rum Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva into major airports in June including Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly, Prague, Rome, Miami and Panama-Tocumen.
On the first day of duty free sales, Diplomático Rum sold out at all Parisian airports.
In April this year, Diplomático Rum displayed its collection at the IAADFS Duty Free show of the Americas in Orlando, generating great interest in the brand’s portfolio.
Mario Navarro, business development manager for Diplomático Rum said: “We’re excited to expand Diplomático in the duty free channel. As a global premium rum brand, the entire portfolio speaks to the cosmopolitan and adventurous traveller, especially those who would frequent international shops.”
Londoners can acquire Diplomático Rum via new alcohol delivery service, HOPT.
