Dead Rabbit debuts cocktails in UK with Big Easy
New York’s The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog, voted the world’s best bar, is set to launch its cocktails in London for the first time through a partnership with Big Easy.
The Dead Rabbit will debut seven cocktails in London through its residency at Big Easy
Dead Rabbit will commence its residency at Big Easy Canary Wharf for two weeks from 16 June, moving to Big Easy Covent Garden from 27 June-13 July.
The Dead Rabbit bartenders will join the Big Easy team to present a list of 12 drinks appearing on the Rumble in the Tumbler menu, priced £9 each.
Six of the cocktails hail from The Dead Rabbit, while six all-new cocktail have been created by Big Easy head bartender Csabi Toth. The Dead Rabbit bartenders will also serve their famous Irish Coffee, a mix of Powers Signature, Demerara coffee and cream.
Each shift will see one Dead Rabbit bartender and one Big Easy bartender working behind the bar, creating the cocktails from their respective venues.
Customers will have the opportunity to compare drinks from both bars during six head-to-head rounds where one cocktail from each venue will be pitted against the other.
“This is an extremely exciting partnership for Big Easy; passion, quality and innovation are at the heart of Big Easy, as with The Dead Rabbit, and it became apparent after a meeting that together we could create something very special and new to London,” said Big Easy co-founder Paul Corrett.
“Collaborating with one of the world’s best cocktail bars, and joining our teams, is a dream come true for us, and we are delighted to bring something completely unique to the London cocktail scene. This is just the start, watch this space for more exciting collaborations.”
Last year, The Dead Rabbit was named World’s Best Bar during Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards 2015.
