Aperol launches TR exclusive Spritz bi-pack

Gruppo Campari Global Travel Retail (GTR) is to introduce an Aperol Spritz bi-pack, enabling consumers to recreate the aperitivo’s signature serve while travelling or at home.

Aperol is launching a TR-exclusive bi-pack format to support the Aperol Spritz serve

The travel retail exclusive pack includes a bottle of Aperol and a bottle of Cinzano Prosecco Doc, and is available “internationally”. The streamlined pack design is said to offer convenience to the passenger, while maximising shelf space in the retail area.

“Aperol Spritz is one of the fastest growing cocktails in the world, a drink that evokes the Italian lifestyle and is better enjoyed when shared with others,” said Leigh Irvine, Gruppo Campari global travel retail director, Gruppo Campari.

“Gruppo Campari is looking forward to launching the new Aperol Spritz bi-pack to give consumers the opportunity to create this refreshing drink in an easy and enjoyable way.”

Aperol dates back to 1919 when the Barbieri brothers first launched the orange-hued aperitivo. Today, Aperol is the fastest growing spirits aperitif brand in the world, according to IWSR figures.

Earlier this month Campari UK announced an Aperol pop-up bar will take up temporary residence on a London rooftop.
