Sipsmith has launched a collectable edition of its London Dry Gin to mark the Queen’s 90th birthdayIn celebration of the Queen – “one of the world’s most famous gin-lovers” – Sipsmith has launched a collectable edition of its London Dry Gin, with a limited run of just 5,000 available.
The purple bottle will be available exclusively in Tesco from the beginning of May with an RRP of £28.
To mark the occasion, Sipsmith’s master distiller and drinks historian, Jared Brown, has created a small selection of serves fit for any royal celebration.
The Sipsmith Dubonnet is particularly poignant, as it’s believed that Her Majesty enjoys to sip a gin and Dubonnet every lunchtime.

Sipsmith Dubonnet
30ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin, 70ml Dubonnet, 1 lemon slice, ice cubes
Method: It is believed Queen Elizabeth II’s recipe is 30% gin and 70% Dubonnet, with a slice of lemon under an ice cube.
Measure Sipsmith London Dry Gin and Dubonnet into a mixing glass with ice cubes and stir well. Strain into a chilled glass. Add the lemon slice, top with an ice cube, and enjoy with an excess of reserved, yet jubilant regal flair.
Sloe Royale

Method: Dry shake all ingredients, then add ice and wet shake. Double strain into a wine glass and top with Champagne to form a fruity foam top.
