Rémy Cointreau adds new director to GTR team

Rémy Cointreau has a new marketing and business development director for global travel retail (GTR), Lyndea Dew.

Lyndea Dew has joined Rémy Cointreau as marketing and business development director for GTR

Dew will report to Peter Sant, senior vice-president, Rémy Cointreau GTR, and will be based in Singapore.

She will also join the GTR Management Committee, along with GTR’s regional directors and financial control director.

“We are delighted to welcome Lyndea to Rémy Cointreau and we wish her every success in her new career,” said Sant.

“She brings a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience to the role, including development of a global travel retail marketing strategy for prestige and premium brands and implementation of strategic plan initiatives for retail excellence.

“Rémy Cointreau has exciting plans for developing its spirits brands in the global travel retail channel and we are confident that Lyndea will make a valuable contribution to our future success.”

Dew will work closely with regional marketing managers in Hong Kong, Miami and Paris, and will also be supported by Lisa Yeh, business analyst in market intelligence, promotion evaluation and commercial analysis.

Before taking up the position with Rémy Cointreau, Dew worked for 17 years with PUIG Barcelona, Spain, and boasts more than seven years of experience in travel retail, formerly as international retail development director.

Dew said: “I am excited to join the company of the calibre of Rémy Cointreau. I look forward to returning to the dynamic travel retail channel as well as to the opportunity to work together with my industry colleagues and partners.”
