London’s largest gin bar opens in Holborn

In total, guests will be able to choose from 14,035 possible gin and tonic pairings and a number of different classic gin cocktails.
Prices range from £9 for the Rathbone London Dry to £52 for the rare 1950s Taplows London Dry Gin. The bar features more than 100 gins distilled in the UK, such as Jinzu and Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin.
Its total collection of 400 gins surpasses the quantity of Mr Fogg’s Tavern, which claimed to have launched London’s largest gin range at its Victorian-inspired Gin Parlour in February this year.
Holborn Dining Room’s bar manager Matthew Sloper said: “We always want to have a strong British feeling in everything we do at Holborn Dining Room so why not work with the most celebrated UK spirit?
“At [more than] 400 gins and counting, we have the largest selection of gin in London which is really exciting, especially when coupled with the 27 different tonics, including our top-secret homemade tonic.”
British brasserie Holborn Dining Room is based in the Rosewood London hotel and serves seasonal, locally sourced British cuisine “with a modern twist”.
