London bar creates Roald Dahl cocktails
London bar Rocket Bishopsgate has created a new range of cocktails inspired by the work of famed children’s novelist Roald Dahl.
A quartet of cocktails have been created by a London bar and restaurant in celebration of Roald Dahl’s best-loved books
The four cocktails have been created to support Broadgate Circle Estate’s ‘Literary Greats’ spring campaign. Each cocktail is based on a classic Roald Dahl book and aims to “inject some nostalgia with just one sip”.
The ‘Mr Fox’ is a mix of carrot, lemon and apple juice, Gomme syrup, Żubrówka vodka and St Germain elderflower liqueur.
‘The Witches’ combines blackberries, Koko Kanu coconut rum, crème de mure liqueur, Gomme syrup, lemon juice and Havana rum.
‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’ is a blend of Whitley Neill Gin, Blue Curacao, Gomme, Lemon Juice and Archers.
And finally, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ is a mix of Chivas regal, El Dorado, Mozzart Chocolate and chocolate ice-cream.
All cocktails will be listed at Rocket Bishopsgate throughout the whole of May, and two are available to buy for £12 on the happy hour menu from 5-7pm.
