‘First’ US spirits-infused ice cream launches

Momenti Spirited Ice Creams has officially launched in the US, making it the nation’s “first” spirits-infused super-premium ice cream brand.

The Momenti spirited ice creams range includes Chocotini Chip

The manufacturing plant is located in Las Vegas and specialises in creating spirits-infused ice creams and sorbets using “quality ingredients and top-shelf liquors”.

Flavours in the range include White Russian Pecan, described as a “bold symphony” of vodka and cream liqueur blended with fresh pecans; Chocotini Chip, made with vodka, dark cocoa and dark chocolate chips; Vodka Cookies & Cream, with whipped vanilla vodka infused with cookie crumbles; Blackberry Cabernet Sorbet, blended sorbet complete with Cabernet Sauvignon and blackberry; and Limoncello Sorbet, made with lemon sorbet and Ventura Limoncello Classico.

Momenti Spirited Ice Creams was founded by Leif Pearson, who graduated from Colby College in Maine with a degree in science, technology and society.

“We are proud to announce our factory is the first of its kind designed to exclusively produce alcohol infused ice creams and sorbets,” said COO Leif Pearson.

“Las Vegas is a perfect place to open our factory because a majority of the population is engaged in the food and beverage industry and it has become a hub for epicureans.”

Momenti is currently available from more than six on- and off-Strip restaurants and food and beverage firms with its spirits-infused ice creams and sorbets.
