Drake & Morgan bar to open at Heathrow T4
Bar and restaurant group Drake & Morgan is to open its first airport establishment this summer at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4.

In a joint venture with hospitality provider Delaware North, The Commission will be a new casual all-day dining and cocktail concept created exclusively for the airport.
Located airside in the terminal, The Commission will span 4,300 sq ft and 170 covers. The drink and dining space will be open every day from first to last flight.
With interior design by Fusion, the format was designed with travellers in mind. Key themes are seasonality, provenance and sustainability, and the menu will feature breakfast, brunch, dinner, supper, coffee and cocktails.
In addition to restaurant-style service, The Commission will also offer a ‘grab and go’ format for those passengers who want to take an on-board picnic with them when they fly.
Jillian MacLean, Managing Director, Drake & Morgan said: “Our all-day bar and dining format is ideal for transport hubs and we are working closely with Delaware North to deliver a fresh new concept designed specifically to appeal to travellers, from business passengers through to families”.
Doug Tetley, Managing Director, Delaware North added: “We are so excited to be working with Jillian and the team at Drake & Morgan. I am confident that The Commission with its unique offer that ranges from breakfast through to cocktails will appeal to the wide cross-section of travellers arriving at Terminal 4”.
Ben Crowley, Heathrow’s Head of Food and Beverage commented: “Drake & Morgan is an incredibly exciting brand and I am delighted to welcome them to Heathrow. We have been keen to expand the bar concepts available at Heathrow for some time and this proposal will provide a real point of difference for Terminal 4 with a quintessentially British touch”.
In February 2016, Gatwick Airport opened what’s thought to be the world’s first airport gin distillery.
