Bompas & Parr creates ‘anti-ageing’ gin

Food and drinks innovation company Bompas & Parr has created a new gin that contains “age-defying botanicals”, including drinkable pure collagen.

Anti-AGin is described as the “alcoholic equivalent of a facial”

The 40% abv Anti-AGin is said to be the “first gin of its kind” that allows gin fans to “rejuvenate” their skin while drinking.

Containing seven ‘major botanicals’ and six ‘minor botanicals’, the gin is described as “the alcoholic equivalent of a facial”.

The “age-defying botanicals” in the gin include: collagen; an anti-wrinkle substance; nettle, containing mineral content for cell rejuvenation; Gotu Kola, which inhibits scar formation and combats cellulite; chamomile, a healing and relaxing agent; witch hazel oil, which kills bacteria within the skin’s pores; burdock, high in anti-oxidents to repair cracked skin; and green tea, which clears the body of impurities.

Anti-AGin is also available to pre-order on drinksupermarket.com for £34.99.

The online retailer said: “It’s the next best thing for people who want stay young, but don’t want to give up alcohol. By including a host of age defying botanicals and combining them with drinkable collagen, this is the alcoholic equivalent of a facial.”

Last year, Bompas & Parr hosted an alternative event for Valentine’s Day where whisky was sipped off naked bodies.
