Monin adds ‘Asian-inspired’ Yuzu fruit to line

Monin UK has added Yuzu, Blueberry and Cherry flavours to its Le Fruit de Monin rangeDeveloped by the beverage innovation team at the brand’s HQ in France, the three new variants bring the Le Fruit de Monin range to 14 total flavours.
In particular Monin aims to focus on the global trend of Asian-inpired cocktails by emulating the “tangy mandarin and grapefruit” flavours of Japanese citrus fruit Yuzu – described by the brand as “one of the most fashionable ingredients in the UK”.
Lee Hyde, Monin beverage innovation manager, said: “Le Fruit de Monin Yuzu adds a unique citrus kick to a host of beverages. Try it in a mojito or a handcrafted lemonade for an extra hint of fruity sourness.
“Like all Monin products, our new Yuzu, Cherry and Blueberry purees will inspire beverage professionals to experiment with on-trend flavour combinations while maintaining excellent consistency and quality from drink to drink and minimising wastage.”
Le Fruit de Monin fruit purees contain minimum 50% whole fruits, and make 33 drinks from a 1 litre bottle.
The new variants are available at an RRP of £12 for a 1 litre bottle.
