Giffard adds Toffee Nut variant to range

French liqueurs and syrups supplier Giffard has launched Toffee Nut syrup, a pure sugar syrup made with natural hazelnut and caramel aromas.

The syrup has been pasteurised, meaning that no preservatives are needed in its formulation.

Gold yellow in colour, Toffee Nut syrup is said to offer aromas of caramelised hazelnut, followed by butter caramel. Given tasting notes include roasted and fresh hazelnut, and slightly salted butter caramel.

Giffard Toffee Nut syrup is suitable for use in cocktails, in hot and cold drinks including coffee and milkshakes, and as a dessert topping.

The product is produce in France and is available in a 1-litre format now.

Last year, Giffard strengthened its product portfolio with the addition of Chocolate Cookie syrup, a variant made from natural cocoa aromas with no preservatives.
