Funkin creates serve for Cocktails in the City

Cocktail ingredients brand Funkin has partnered with the Cocktail Trading Co. at this year’s Cocktails in the City event in London to serve its Eastend Dicky Bird mix.

Funkin’s Eastend Dicky Bird cocktail will be available at the upcoming Cocktails in the City event

The slush-style serve is inspired by the traditional London Bramble cocktail and pays homage to the “bustling East London markets of old”.

It contains Funkin Pro Mixed Berry Purée, Funkin Pro Rhubarb Syrup, Funkin Pro Pure Pour Lime and Beefeater London Dry Gin. The cocktail will be served in a bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag at an East London market-themed stand.

Staff manning the stand will dress like Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses and will shout limited time deals.

“Our collaboration with The Cocktail Trading Co. brings an exciting and fun new cocktail that will only be available at Cocktails in the City, giving consumers a unique opportunity to sample something different and innovative from Funkin,” said Ben Anderson, Funkin’s head of marketing.

“As consumers’ taste for cocktails continues to grow, Cocktails in the City is a fantastic platform that taps into this trend and we are excited to be a part of this year’s event with The Cocktail Trading Co. who share our innovative vision.”

Cocktails in the City will be held at One Mayfair on 10-12 March 2016 from 5-11pm.
