Cointreau Cocktail Maker enters UK market

French liqueur Cointreau has launched a new cocktail making kit to enable consumers to create the “perfect” Cointreau Fizz at home.

Available from UK retailers, the Cointreau Cocktail Maker includes a 200ml cocktail maker, a 500ml bottle of Cointreau and an individually wrapped straw for sipping.

To make the cocktail, consumers must fill the maker with ice, add Cointreau, the juice of half a lime, top with sparkling water, stir and serve.

The brand also recommends putting a twist on the classic Cointreau Fizz, with serves such as the Cointreau Strawberry and Basil Fizz.

To make the drink, imbibers must muddle one strawberry and three fresh basil leaves, before adding the ice, Cointreau, lime juice and sparkling water.

The Cointreau Cocktail Maker has an RRP of £18.49 per 500ml pack.
