Santamanía enters Australian market

Madrid distillery Santamanía has partnered with an Australian producer to launch a limited edition London Dry Gin into the market.

The Santamanía team have partnered with an Australian distillery to produce a new gin for the market

The team from Four Pillars, a local distillery in the Yarra Valley, near Melbourne, travelled to Spain to work with Santamanía to produce the Australian/Spanish gin.

A grape-based product, the gin features botanicals from both countries, and was specially bottled and labeled for its launch in both Australia and Spain.

The London Dry Gin launch marks the first time a Santamanía product has been available in Australia.

“At this time Santamanía has almost complete the round of the globe, with destiny exports,” the company said in a statement.

“There may be some islands in the mid-Pacific that would be handy to close a perfect circle linking with Chile, where Santamanía has been present for almost a year now.”

In October 2015, Santamanía announced it had opened a new distillery to bring production operations under one roof.
