New bar to open next to HMS Belfast
A new quayside bar and deli is set to open at London’s iconic Second World War Royal Navy warship, HMS Belfast.
Tom’s Kitchen – a new bar and deli – is set to open on HMS Belfast
Tom’s Kitchen, a group of restaurants and delis established by chef Tom Aikens, is about to open its fifth venue next to the entrance of HMS Belfast – Tom’s Kitchen Deli and Bar – in partnership with Levy Restaurants UK, complete with a late night bar.
Situated on the River Thames in the Pool of London, the new venue will boast a rooftop bar with room to accommodate 58 guests, plus a deli with room for 46 seated diners.
The bar will be given a “fresh and contemporary” look, to complement the views of the River Thames and landmarks visible from the ship, including the Tower of London and The Shard.
Cocktails, craft beers and wine will be served at the bar, in addition to a selection of bar snacks.
Aikens commented: “The opportunity to create a Tom’s Kitchen Deli and Bar in such an extraordinary space in a real privilege, and one that we are very excited about.”
