Douglas Laing appoints new US distributor
Douglas Laing has announced a new US distribution partnership with Vision Wine & Spirits for its Remarkable Regional Malts brands.
Vision Wine & Spirits will distribute Douglas Laing’s Remarkable Regional Malts brands in the USThe new deal will see Vision Wine & Spirits import and distribute Douglas Laing’s Remarkable Regional Malts – the collective brand that encompasses Timorous Beastie Highland Malt, Scallywag Speyside Malt, Rock Oyster Island Malt, and Big Peat Islay Malt Scotch whiskies.
Chris Leggat, Douglas Laing’s commercial director, said: “Vision Wine & Spirits stood out because of the passion demonstrated by the team throughout our tender process. You can’t fake genuine enthusiasm, and it’s not often we meet professionals who care about our Remarkable Malts as much as we do.
“Following the exponential growth of these brands in European markets in the past couple of years, we are now poised to accelerate performance in the States in partnership with Vision.”

Last week, Douglas Laing unveiled new packaging for its Provenance Single Cask Scotch Whisky range.
