Deanston Organic 15 Years Old Single Highland Malt will be joined on-stand by two Tobermory single malts, the 18 Year Old Bourbon cask matured, and the 20 Year Old Sherry cask finished expression.
Also heading to the exhibition is Amaruma Cream liqueur, produced with wild-harvested fruit from the marula tree.
Andrea Baumgartner, head of marketing, Distell Global Travel Retail, says the global “connoisseurship” trend will see travellers look for speciality products of interesting or unusual provenance. “As a multi-beverage producer, Distell is well placed to capitalise on the growing appetite for the new, the exclusive and the hand-crafted.”
She added: “Our portfolio includes rare, small-batch ultra-premium malts in the Bunnahabhain, Ledaig, Deanston and Tobermory ranges. Our heritage Cognac Bisquit features several specialty editions exclusive to travel retail. And with South Africa establishing a growing international reputation for original, interesting and pioneering wines, Distell is well-placed to provide a full category solution with leading international brands like Nederburg and a selection of smaller boutique Estates like Durbanville Hills and Plaisir de Merle.”
Visitors can sample the Distell range at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas, stand 1105.
Organisers of the exhibition, which takes place from 3-6 April at the Orlando World Center Marriot, Florida, will add an education session to the event’s programme this this year.
