Based in London, the company’s “dynamic and multi-cultural” team, made up of 40 self-titled “Camparistas” from 10 different nationalities, will look to boost the Italian group’s portfolio in one of the biggest spirits market in Europe.

A statement from the group reads: “We have big ambitions for Campari UK this year, with lots of exciting activities in the pipeline for our brands.”

Of the extensive Gruppo Campari portfolio, Campari UK has a focus on Campari, Aperol, Wild Turkey Bourbon, Appleton Estate rum and Wray & Nephew rum.

The group claims to be the sixth-largest premium spirits producer in the world, with products marketed and distributed in more than 190 countries.

At the start of the year, Gruppo Campari sold its “non-core” spirits business Casoni Fabbricazione Liquori to a local consortium of entrepreneurs for €5.3 million.
