Coffee-infused whiskey launches in US

A ‘craft’ coffee-infused American whiskey has been launched in 40 US states, titled Fliquor Bean.

Fliquor Bean is a coffee-infused whiskey

Fliquor Bean is distilled in California using organic coffee and American whiskey.

The coffee used to make the expression hails from Mexico’s largest farmer confederation, CoNaProMex and is then custom roasted by a local micro roaster based in LA.

Fliquor Bean is recommended for using in cold brewed coffee or mixed in cocktails.

Fliquor Bean was founded in 2013 by Jerry DeFazion, a former LA TV camera operator.

In other coffee and whiskey news, last week, craft coffee producer Whiskey Barrel Coffee surpassed its crowdfunding target on Kickstarter and is readying to take its barrel-aged coffee beans to a wider audience.

Meanwhile last year, UK-based sales and distribution agency Love Drinks added Mr Black Cold Press Coffee Liqueur to its portfolio.
