Beluga expands portfolio with flavoured bitters

Beluga Vodka producer JSC Synergy has expanded the brand’s portfolio with the release of its first bitters offering, Beluga Hunting Noble Bitters.

The variants are made at the JSC Synergy’s Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia

Beluga Hunting Herbal and Beluga Hunting Berry Noble Bitters are made at the company’s Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia – which also produces Beluga Vodka.

The variants, which are now available in large retail chains across Russia, are a “unique combination”of the herbs and berries growing in Siberia, malt spirit, and artesian water.

Both bottles feature a small Beluga fish that is manually attached to each bottle – a traditional symbol representing the Beluga family.

Ekaterina Mechetina, Synergy’s brand director, said: “The decision to step in the category, that is new to Beluga brand, was caused by desire to attract new consumers and also maintain loyalty of the existing ones. We see the potential for further development of bitters category in Russia.

“We are sure that Beluga Hunting will become a new great member of Beluga family and will be highly appreciated by super-premium spirits drinkers”.

Beluga Noble Russian Bitters are available in 500ml and 700ml bottles. Beluga Hunting Herbal has an abv 40% and Beluga Hunting Berry an abv of 38%.

Last October the Beluga brand signed a new UK distribution deal with Cellar Trends in a bid to strengthen its presence in the country.
