Rhum Clément to launch Canne Bleue in Europe

Rhum Clément is readying to launch its Canne Bleue agricole expression in select bars across Europe in January 2016.

Clément Canne Bleue will be available in select European bars from January 2016

Set to appear on shelves in select on-trade establishments, the variant was first launched in the US and proved popular among bartenders with its “intense flavour” and “spicy, profound finish”.

Clément Canne Bleue is a white agricole rhum created from sugarcane, called Canne Bleue grown in Martinique.

Bottled at 50% abv, the aroma is described as “fresh pressed cane and dusty marshmallow meets zippy lime zest”, leading to flavours of spring pea shoots, asparagus, watercress and “subtle hints” of anise and clove on the palate.

“This version of Clément Canne Bleue was released last year in the USA and received a very warm welcome from US mixologists,” said Matthieu de Lassus, export director of Rhum Clément.
