Stock Spirits names independent board director
By Amy HopkinsCentral and Eastern European drinks producer Stock Spirits has appointed private equity advisor Miroslaw (Mirek) Stachowicz as an independent non-executive director of its board.
Miroslaw Stachowiczn has joined the board of Stock Spirits as independent non-executive directorStachowicz currently serves as non-executive vice-chairman and head of the Audit Committee of Harper Hygenics S.A., as well as member of the Supervisory Board of CCC S.A. He also advises a number of other private equity investors and international companies.
With Stock Spirits, Stachowicz joins the Audit and Remuneration Committees with immediate effect.
The group also announced that Andrew Cripps, who has served on the Board since the IPO in 2013, will become Senior Independent Director with immediate effect.

Following Stachowicz’s appointment, the board of Stock Spirits now comprises two executive directors and three independent non-executive directors, in addition to the chairman.
The group revealed earlier this year that its half-year 2015/16 nosedived 20% as difficulties in Poland persist.
