Metaxa creates sculpture for its ‘rarest cask’

Rémy Cointreau has teamed up with designer Dimitris Tsigos to launch a new sculpture for its Greek spirit brand Metaxa.

Everness for AEN is a sculpture created for Metaxa’s AEN bottling by Dimitris Tsigos

The fiberglass sculpture, called Everness, has been created for the AEN Metaxa, made using more than 200 different blends that have spent more than 80 years maturing.

Each decanter is handmade by Crystal de Sèvres craftsmen and features a cap finished with 20.6 carat gold.

Described as a “true collectors’ item”, the sculpture created by Tsigos to accompany the variant can also be personalised by individual buyers.

“We created a cutting-edge piece, very high in emotional value, a visual parenthesis around the AEN experience,” said Tsigos.

“Everness is there to support the feelings created by AEN, to express the experience that comes with this rare spirit. This need came out of sharing the same creative approach with the House of Metaxa.”

Personalised editions of Everness for AEN carry an RRP of £220 and are available upon request directly from Metaxa. Individual bottles of AEN Metaxa are priced £1,365.80.
