Gin No. 209 signs exclusive distribution deal
By Amy HopkinsSan Francisco’s Distillery No. 209 has signed a multi-year US distribution agreement with Southern Wine & Spirits for its core Gin No. 209 brand.
Gin No. 209 will now be distributed in the US by Southern Wine & SpiritsSouthern Wine & Spirits, the largest US distributor for wine and spirits, will now exclusively handle the portfolio of Distillery No. 209, the 209th distillery to be registered in the US.
“Along with our National Sales Manager, John Tarver, I look forward to many years of success with Southern Wine & Spirits of America,” said Jeff Hodson, president of Distillery No. 209.
The distillery, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, distills, hand-bottles, and ships its gins all from one location on Pier 50, located over water on the San Francisco Bay.
It recently released three limited edition gins aged in wine barrels in the UK through distributor Hi-Spirits.
The variants in the range include: Within the range, there are three variants: No. 209 Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Reserve Gin; No. 209 Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Reserve Gin; and No. 209 Chardonnay Barrel Reserve Gin.
