Finlandia films four-part documentary series
By Melita KielyFinlandia has created a new documentary short series to raise awareness of preserving the world’s pure water sources.
Finlandia has launched a four-part documentary series about pure water conservationTitled Journey from the Source: A Search for Less Ordinary Wisdom, the four-part series premiered for the first time on 11 November across online channels, including Finlandia’s YouTube.
Each episode is approximately four minutes long, and features “world class adventurers” travelling from Finland to the US depicting the story of pure water advocates who “share Finlandia’s passion for water conservation”.
“Finlandia has already made a substantial financial commitment to our natural resources, which are imperative to the future of our brand, through our partnership with 1% For The Planet,” commented Chris Doyle, Finlandia brand manager.
“Through Journey from the Source, we are trying to create an engaging dialogue about the need for pure water – one that resonates with our audience, and in turn, motivates them to champion this cause as well.”
Finlandia already invests in numerous conservation efforts, including oyster restoration in waterways to the effects of climate change on snowcaps.
The vodka brand will also release a range of behind-the-scenes assets, trailers and “making of” vignettes via social media channels and content partners.
Journey from the Source is hosted by Cory Richards, an award-winning explorer and documentarian.
