Fever-Tree creates first ever TV advert

Premium mixing brand Fever-Tree has partnered with Channel 4 to launch its first ever television advertising campaign, which features musician Angela Ricci.

The advert has been created through Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund, a scheme that offers “high growth” companies the chance to build their business through TV advertising.

In the ad, Ricci can be seen walking through a bar singing Fever, first made famous by Peggy Lee in 1958 (click on the link below to see the advert in full).

“Partnering with Channel 4 has provided an excellent, strategic opportunity to spread the Fever-Tree word to a broad audience”, said Fever-Tree marketing director Saskia Meyer. “The campaign will enable us to test a medium that we wouldn’t have otherwise considered.”

The 30-second spot will debut within Channel 4’s London and South regions and will run until the end of the year.

Vinay Solanki, head of the Commercial Growth Fund at Channel 4, said: ”We’re really excited to launch Fever-Tree’s very first TV ad campaign through our Commercial Growth Fund which will help this fast growing UK company to achieve significant brand awareness through TV, the most effective scalable advertising medium.”

Founded by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow in 2005, Fever-Tree’s mixing portfolio consists of 12 variants.

Last year, the brand travelled to India with then-deputy prime minister Nick Clegg as it aimed to make the country its 50th export market.
