Vodka Rocks announces London debut

Vodka Rocks, a week-long celebration of the vodka category, is readying for its inaugural launch in London this November.

Five brands will host their own event over the course of the week in collaboration with a different London venue

Vodka brands Ruby Blue Vodka, Snow Queen Vodka, Vestal Vodka, St George Spirits and Babička Vodka will showcase their spirit throughout the week beginning November 9th at various trade and consumer events.

Each will host their own event in collaboration with a different London venue to feature product launches, exclusive cocktails and brand experiences.
On Monday, Babička Vodka will be serving up a new cocktail created in partnership with the Drunken Monkey in Shoreditch, while on Tuesday Vestal Vodka host the first ever tasting of their brand new 2014 vintage at Kentish Town venue Ladies & Gents.
Wednesday sees Vodka Rocks host a trade cocktail competition followed by the official Vodka Rocks evening event, while on Thursday the team at the Shrub & Shutter in Brixton will be showcasing an exclusive list of cocktails inspired by RubyBlue Vodka’s Irish heritage.

Over the weekend a sensory vodka tasting experience will be held at Printworks Kitchen in Farringdon, and a Snow Queen Vodka”bottomless Bloody Mary” offer is available at The Jones Family Project in Old Street.

The event has been organised by drinks communications agency, Garnish Communications.
“There are a number of generalisations about the vodka category. It’s currently a really exciting category with premium and craft brands creating excellent products with a lot of passion,” said Nik Koster of Garnish Communications.
“We picked our brands carefully. Each brand has very different story and really adds a lot to the week. You could go to every event throughout the week and not hear or taste the same thing twice. This is the first of many annual Vodka Rocks events”.
