Snow Queen Martini Masters finalists chosen

Following an overwhelming number of entries, the final 11 bartenders have been selected to compete in the grand final of the Snow Queen Martini Masters 2015.

The Snow Queen Martini Masters 2015 champion will win a three-night trip to Lapland in Sweden

The finalists comprise Mark Lloyd, of Jenever in Liverpool; Craig Moffat, of The Gleneagles hotel in Perthshire; Joe Macbeth, of Rub Smokehouse & Bar; Samuel Boulton, of Harvey Nichols in Birmingham; Manachain Monaghan, of Monk Buxton Ltd in Derbyshire; Bruno Vilas, of Mandarin Bar in London; Alexander Summerfield, of Annabel’s in London; Sebastian Irimus, of Eight Members Club in London; Elon Soddu, of The Blue Bar at The Berkeley Hotel in London; Lukas Stafin, of Megaro Bar in London; and Shaun Teeluck, of The Library Bar at The Lanesborough Hotel in London.

The final is scheduled to take place on 27 October at renowned The Club at The Ivy, in London.

Facing the tough job of judging the semi-final at Drake & Morgan’s The Folly, in London, were Chris Edwards, founder of the Shrub and Shutter in Brixton, Armand Fasola, committee member of the UKBG, and Melita Kiely, senior staff writer at The Spirits Business.

The overall winner of the 2015 competition will be rewarded with a three-night trip to Lapland in Sweden, where they will have the chance to stay at Lapland’s famous Ice Hotel.

In addition, the winning bartender will have the chance to take on the role of UK brand ambassador for Snow Queen Vodka.

Snow Queen Vodka comes from Kazakhstan and is distilled using organic wheat.
