Pernod Ricard reshuffles exec marketing team

French drinks group Pernod Ricard has announced a series of executive changes to its Asia business, as well as The Absolut Company.

Xavier Beysecker has been appointed vice president for digital at Pernod Ricard Asia

Xavier Beysecker, currently vice president of Marketing for Absolut at The Absolut Company has been appointed vice president of digital at Pernod Ricard Asia, effective as of 1 November 2015.

Based in Hong Kong, Beysecker will be responsible for ensuring Pernod Ricard’s digital strategy is aligned with the group’s “global vision and objectives”, working in conjunction with the Digital Acceleration team.

He will report directly to Philippe Guettat, chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Asia.

Beysecker will be succeeded by Craig Johnson, currently VP of marketing for Malibu and Kahlua at The Absolut Company, who will report to Paul Duffy, chairman and CEO of The Absolut Company.

Colin Kavanagh, currently marketing director of Pernod Ricard Brasil, will take on Johnson’s role, also reporting to Duffy. Kavanagh’s replacement has yet to be announced.
