Label 5 unveils ‘Whisky Confidential’ drive

Blended Scotch brand Label 5 has announced its Whisky Confidential global campaign to encourage consumers to try whisky cocktails.

For the campaign, the La Martiniquaise-owned brand has partnered with bartenders who have created whisky cocktails using Label 5, with Label 5 Classic Black a core focus.

Whisky Confidential features a series of videos which invite consumers to visit bars in Shanghai, New York and London to enjoy cocktails created by the bartenders.

The videos also include cocktail recipes, enabling consumers to recreate the serves at home.

Vinny Burke, owner of Jago in London, features in one of the videos. “I wanted to create a drink that was light and fresh. Label 5 is a great Scotch for cocktails as it has a well-balanced and complex flavour which enables you to work with different notes.”

Other bars featured include Starling in Shanghai, and Feather Weight in New York.

The videos will be available on Label 5’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. Label 5 says more recipes “may be released” in the coming months.

Earlier this year, Label 5 created a promotional video for Instagram as part of its World Mix marketing campaign.
