Bottega’s Limoncino passes million bottle mark

Treviso-based Bottega is now selling more than one million bottles of its Limoncino product every year.

Limoncino Bottega has passed the one million bottles per year mark in sales.

Limoncino Bottega, a sweet liqueur bottled at 30% abv, is Bottega’s version of a limoncello. It is thought to be the only product of its type on the market containing a percentage of grappa.

Its signature serve is the “Bottega Spritz”, a long drink comprising the limoncino, prosecco, soda water, ice cubes, lemon and mint leaves, served in a long-stemmed wine glass.

The one million bottle mark, recorded from July 2014 to June 2015, ranks Bottega among the top three Italian producers of lemon liqueurs.

It is distributed in more than 70 countries across five continents and has a presence in global travel retail.
