Ugo Fiorenzo has been appointed managing director of Campari America

The owner of Wild Turkey Bourbon and Skyy Vodka revealed that Danis had resigned from his post in December 2014.

Ugo Fiorenzo has now taken over from Jean-Jacques Dubau, Gruppo Campari’s managing director of North America (US, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Caribbean and Central America), who had stepped in as a temporary replacement.

Overseeing the day-to-day operations in the US – Gruppo Campari’s second largest market – Fiorenzo will report directly to Dubau.

Fiorenzo has spent 10 years with Gruppo Campari having previously served as enior market director of Gruppo Campari subsidiary J. Wray & Nephew in Jamaica.

“Ugo’s extensive experience within Gruppo Campari and the alcohol beverage industry will undoubtedly position the company for continued success in the US,” said Dubau.

“Utilising both his sales and marketing expertise, he will help us accelerate our business around our four key growth pillars – Maximizing Portfolio Potential, Building True Distributor Partnerships, Creating Operational Effectiveness, and Nurturing Brand & Company Advocates.”

Fiorenzo will be based at the Campari America headquarters in San Francisco.
