The competition took place at Sovereign Loss in London, and ran from 12pm on 1 June to 12pm on 2 June.
Each of the 84 entrants were given 15 minutes to create and serve a Reyka cocktail to a panel of expert judges, who rated the drinks on appearance, aroma and taste.
Reyka’s brand ambassador, Joe Petch said: “We are thrilled at the number of bartenders who entered the competition and the quality of the Reyka cocktails that they made.
“We came up with a competition that reflected Iceland’s 24-hour sun as well as Reyka’s creativity and unconventional approach. We’re happy that the winning cocktails brought these values to life.
“We want to give special mentions to Ten Mill Lane in Cardiff who sent two great bartenders, and to Gina Camfield who travelled from BoBar in Glasgow to take part. Finally, a huge thanks to the Sovereign Loss team for hosting and support.”
The victorious bartenders have won a place on Reyka’s Secret Solstice Expedition to Iceland, where they will enjoy a rare opportunity to visit the Reyka distillery, and party under the midnight sun at Reykjavik music festival Secret Solstice – the only festival to experience 24-hour sunlight.
