Luxco revamps Pearl Vodka packaging

Luxco has given its Pearl Vodka brand a packaging makeover as it readies to launch three new flavours.

Pearl Vodka has undergone a packaging redesign to better highlight the product’s flavour

The new look features a bevelled glass inset bottle, new label design, embossed metal closure and a new neck label designed to “more prominently” promote the vodka’s flavour.

Meanwhile, three new variants are also being released, including Lime Basil, Strawberry Basil and Vanilla Bean.

“Pearl Vodka’s new packaging better reflects the brand’s taste – classic, clean and ultra-smooth,” commented Ashley Ulkus, brand manager at Luxco.

“The new bottle and closure is more aligned with the high quality of the product and the new labels create a streamlined and eye-catching look, which we believe will allow for better display presence, both on and off premise and in home bars.

“Consumers are looking for more herbaceous flavours for their cocktails and these unique flavours fill a gap in current offerings.”

Lime Basil is said to be a “refreshing” combination of citrus and herbs, while Strawberry Basil offers flavours of ripe strawberries and a touch of basil.

The Vanilla Bean variant is said to have hints of butterscotch and chocolate, as well as a “smooth delicate” vanilla taste resembling vanilla ice cream.

“The Lime Basil and Strawberry Basil flavours will provide a point of differentiation for Pearl Vodka as our research shows that is what our consumers are seeking,” said Ulkus. “These flavours were inspired by the growing popularity of infusing vodka with fruits and herbs and will provide the base for refreshing cocktails this summer.”
