Petition for late-night Oz alcohol delivery service

Two Australian entrepreneurs have started a petition to gain support for their alcohol delivery business, The Late Night Bootleggers.

If the petition is successful, Christopher Dingas and Connor Lappin will launch The Late Night Bootleggers in Melbourne

If the petition is successful, Christopher Dingas and Connor Lappin will launch the delivery platform in Melbourne, with aspirations to expand the business across the country.

The duo wish to operate the service through the night until 8am, as presently off-licenses in Melbourne close at 11pm, with a limited number of 24-hour stores in the city centre.
Current alcohol delivery services in the area only operate until 10pm.

Dingas and Lappin told The Music that by launching the petition as well as obtaining permission to sell alcoholic beverages, they hope to demonstrate the popularity of the idea to local authorities.

They added: “We hope that this can be a significant force in persuading the Liquor Commission to grant us the privilege to service Melbourne in a way that we all have only dreamed of.”
