The bar has been designed to offer “interactive and luxurious drinks experiences” crafted by World Class-certified bartenders, and will deliver exclusive “cutting-edge” cocktails.

“We are delighted to partner with Celebrity Cruises to launch this first, ground breaking World Class Bar on board a cruise ship,” commented Doug Bagley, managing director, Diageo Global Travel and Middle East. “Celebrity is world-renowned for providing luxurious guest experiences, and this bar will provide exceptional drinking experiences for its guests.

“It brings to life our World Class ambition to inspire the world to drink better through innovations such as unique ritual serves and it represents a bold approach to growing the fine-drinking category.”

Drinks will include creations such as the Mystic Ketel One, made from Ketel One vodka, strawberries, pineapple, aloe vera, lime juice and ginger liqueur.

Other offerings such as the Zacapa Old Fashioned, made from Zacapa 23 Rum, Angostura Bitters and chocolate mole, or the Celebrity No. Ten, crafted from Tanqueray No. Ten gin, fresh raspberries, bitters, lemon juice, crème de violette and ginger ale will also feature on the menu.

“Our award wining programme gives guests the opportunity to indulge in new tastes and experiences during their vacation, and the World Class Bar will do this by offering the very best of mixology, custom created craft cocktails and expert bartenders,” added Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises.

“World Class is at the forefront of contemporary cocktail culture, which is a perfect fit for celebrity as we continue to bring modern luxury to affluent vacationers.”

The World Class Bar is set to roll out on board Celebrity’s four other Solstice Class ships, following its debut on Eclipse.
