Skyy releases cocktail-inspired vodka range

As cocktail culture continues to grow, Skyy Vodka has launched Skyy Barcraft – a range of three cocktail-inspired flavoured vodkas.

Skyy Barcraft Watermelon Fresca is one of three new cocktail-inspired flavoured vodkas

Bottled at 30% abv, the Barcraft collection comprises Watermelon Fresca, Margarita Lime and White Sangria flavours.

Each expression has been designed to be mixed with two parts club soda to “take the guesswork out” of creating cocktails at home while emulating the experience of a high-end bar or restaurant.

“We have seen cocktail culture evolve in the past few years with a big focus on craft cocktails,” said Otis Florence, Skyy vodka’s international mixologist. “This has naturally led to consumers wanting craft cocktails at home, but without the multiple steps and hard-to-find ingredients.

“That’s where Skyy steps in, hacking a full-flavoured cocktail experience using only two ingredients – Skyy Barcraft and club soda.

“Barcraft is a testament to Skyy’s commitment to quality and a pioneering approach to answering consumer need.”

To coincide with the launch, Skyy is also teaming up with DIY lifestyle experts, such as Brit Morin of Brit + Co, which is an online community providing tools to inspire people’s creativity.

“Skyy Barcraft is the next step in flavoured vodka,” added Christine Moll, category marketing director vodka at Campari America, owner of Skyy Vodka. “But they are also seeking convenience and simplicity.

“We’re answering this need for more interesting flavour profiles and filling a white space in the premium vodka category with Skyy Barcraft.”

Skyy Barcraft Margarita Lime, Watermelon Fresca and White Sangria will each be available in the US in either 50ml, 750ml and 1L bottles with RRPs of US$1.99, US$18.49 and US$26.49 respectively.
