SB calls for Nepal fundraising support

The Spirits Business is supporting a fundraising effort launched by a member of its team whose family has been left homeless by the devastating earthquake which hit Nepal this weekend.

The 7.9 magnitude earthquake rocked Kathmandu on Saturday, 25 April, flattening historic buildings and houses, while the death toll has now risen to almost 5,000. More than 9,200 people have been injured, and many more are trapped or missing.

A Nepalese member of The Spirits Business team has now launched a fundraising campaign to raise money for the thousands affected by the disaster. While her family is safe and well, their homes have been destroyed and they are currently living in tents.

Funds raised will go toward providing dry fruits, biscuits, water purifying tablets, solar light, blankets and tents to the thousands that have been left without a home. Every donation regardless how small will make a huge difference.
