The two “tough guy” actors star in separate video advertisements for the brand’s international Enough Said campaign, narrating their personal stories of “struggle, toughness, and triumph”.
Liotta, who was revealed as 1800 Tequila’s spokesperson in 2013 and fronted the initial adverts for Enough Said, stars in the newest video for the campaign, set in New York.
Michael K. Williams, famous for his portrayal of antihero Omar on the critically acclaimed HBO series The Wire, stars in the second episode, set for release on 15 April.
“The Enough Said episodes takes the 1800 drinker on a journey through time in the lives of two spirits resolute in their masculinity and personal style,” said Greg Smith, chief creative officer at The VIA Agency, which created the episodes. “This video series champions the true spirit of 1800 – not settling for less than the highest standard in 100% blue agave Tequilas.”
Described as having a flavour of prunes, roasted pepper, spice and fruit, 1800 Tequila is made using 100% blue agave and is bottled in Jalisco, Mexico.
1800 Tequila previously enlisted Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli to star in its series of marketing campaigns.
