Laphroaig seeks 200 honest Aussie opinions
By Melita KielyTo celebrate its 200th anniversary, Scotch whisky brand Laphroaig is seeking honest opinions from discerning Australian whisky drinkers as part of its new campaign “200 Opinions Wanted”.
Laphroaig Scotch whisky has launched a new campaign, called “200 Opinions Wanted”In return for sharing their honest thoughts on the brand, whisky fans will have the opportunity to win a trip to the Scotch whisky’s native island, Islay, Scotland.
Once the viewpoints have been collected, 200 of the most “unique” opinions will be displayed on individual tiles on the distillery’s walls.
From these, 10 will be selected to win a visit to Islay where they will have the chance to attend Laphroaig Live – a global whisky event held at the Laphroaig distillery for the first time in nine years.
Whisky lovers can submit their opinions online at laphroaig.com/opinions until 1 August 2015.
Laphroaig is made from malted barley dried over a peat fire using peat found solely on Islay.
Earlier this week, Laphroaig announced it would also be celebrating its 200th anniversary milestone with the re-release of its popular 15-year-old expression this summer.
