Hardin County’s Boundary Oak Distillery is expanding to a second siteThe distillery began producing Bourbon in November last year after its owners received a federal permit. Before then, Bourbon had not been legally distilled in Hardin County since the 1890s.
WBKO now reports that Boundary Oak is expanding to a second site in the City of Radcliff to ramp up production. It will be used for distillation and storage and will also feature a visitors’ centre.

Owned by Brent Goodwin, who is also the company’s master distiller, Boundary Oak Distillery aims to eventually be included on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
The distillery’s first bottle of Bourbon reportedly sold at auction for US$25,000, two years before it is due to be released.
