Belvédère appoints new executive committee

French drinks group Belvédère, maker of Marie Brizard liqueurs, has appointed a new executive teamThe Sobieski Vodka and Marie Brizard liqueurs owner has appointed former Mazars executive Aymeric Donon as its new chief financial officer (CFO), former Bisquit Cognac and Rémy Cointreau executive Stanislas Ronteix as its new chief marketing officer (CMO), and agricultural food veteran Daniel Rougé as its chief operations office (COO).
In addition, Belvédère has named Odile Laurent as its human resources director, Alain Degand its chief purchasing officer, and Stéphane Laugery its legal director and corporate secretary.
The appointments come just two months after the group asserted it was “back in the industry race” despite a 4.1% sales drop in 2014 – described as a “year of normalisation”.
In order to turn around sales, Belvédère revealed details of an “ambitious” new strategic plan.
“I am very satisfied to be able to count on an executive committee with substantial experience both of the wine and spirits sector and of turning around companies and driving growth,” said Jean-Noël Reynaud, CEO of Belvédère
“Belvédère is again able to attract talented individuals who are convinced of the pertinence of our project.
“Having put the group back on the road to recovery at operational level in 2014, the executive committee and local management teams are ready and eager to ensure the success of our big 2018 strategic plan.”
