Cachaça is the focus of the bar’s drinks menu, which features a host of cocktails designed to showcase the traditional tippleThe “bohemian, favela-style” bar, Made in Brasil Boteco, pays homage to Brazil’s national spirit in surroundings inspired by the old family bars of Sao Paulo and Salvador.
Cachaça – which is made from distilled sugar cane juice – is the focus of the drinks menu, which features a host of cocktails including Cachaça Sours, the Acai Caipirinha, and the Chilly Mary Caipirinha.
Each drink is designed to showcase the traditional Brazilian tipple, which features a “sweet and explosive” flavour.
The new bar is the brainchild of self-defined “ambassador for Brazilians in London” Renato Paziam, who also runs the venue’s sister restaurant, Made in Brasil.
The food menu was created by head chef Clau Gloria D’Souza, and features traditional Brazilian tapas inspired by Amazonian and Bahian style cooking.
In addition, the bar is a hub for art exhibitions, samba and salsa classes, and regional film screenings.
