First UK on-trade bottled cocktail range launches
By Amy HopkinsWorld of Zing has partnered with drinks consultancy firm Fluid Movement to launch the UK’s first aged and bottled cocktail range exclusive to the on-trade.
World of Zing and Fluid Movement have launched the UK’s first aged and bottled cocktail programme in the on-trade
The “food and drink emporium” had previously teamed-up with Tom Aske and Tristan Stephenson, co-founders of Fluid Movement, to launch a range of pre-batched cocktails in the off-trade.
This new range has been designed in larger volumes to cater to bars across the UK, delivering in either 15-litre casks, or 500ml bottles.
The core collection consists of: Bordeaux Cask Aged Negroni with Tanqueray Gin and Zing Serenity Bitters; Steel Aged Manhattan with Bulleit Rye, Zing Anaesthetic Brandy and Euphoric Bitters; Blackberry and Tamarind Spiced Rum Punch with Pink Pigeon; and Persian Lime and Nori Seaweed Margarita with Ocho Tequila.
“With batched cocktails now found in some of the world’s leading bars, the stigma against this style of serve has largely disappeared,” said Pritesh Mody, World of Zing founder.
“We have partnered with Fluid Movement due to their international recognition for their understanding of ageing and batching cocktails.”
World of Zing is also “in the process” of creating bespoke bottled cocktails for individual bars. The company already has its own on-trade distribution infrastructure in place, with 20 vehicles already servicing restaurants and bars in the South East on a daily basis.
Cocktail prices begin at £25 per litre, and are available now.
