Teeling Single Grain Irish whiskey lands in US
The Teeling Whiskey Co. has launched its Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey in the US in an effort to diversify the category.
Teeling Single Grain Irish whiskey is now available in domestic USFirst launched in the UK in 2013, Teeling Single Grain is an Irish column still whiskey fully matured in Californian red wine barrels for an unspecified length of time.
With interest in Irish whiskey soaring in the US, up 9.1% in 2014, (Discus), Teeling Whiskey Co hopes to capitalise further by building on its portfolio in the country with nation-wide distribution of Single Grain this month.
Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Co, said: “It’s a little known fact that the majority of Irish whiskey sold is actually grain whiskey so we feel it is interesting to have expressions of single grain whiskey in its own right.
“Our Teeling Single Grain is representative of our aim to help drive the expansion of the Irish whiskey category through unique bottlings and expressions.”
Teeling Single Grain is currently being rolled out across the country with an RRP of US$49.99 per 750ml.
