Licor 43 launches new design to support growth

Spanish liqueur brand Licor 43 has received an image revamp by international drinks design consultants Cartils as it aims to double its sales.

The bottle, labeling and branding have been refreshed with a new modern look to boost the brand’s status as ‘the world’s fastest growing premium liqueur’

The bottle, labeling and branding have been refreshed with a new modern look to boost the brand’s status as ‘the world’s fastest growing premium liqueur’.

With high hopes of increasing sales from 600,000 cases in 2014 to 1.2 million over the next few years – doubling the brand’s volume – Cartils was brought on board to assist Licor 43’s team in reaching their target.

The new bottle stands taller and features higher shoulders, allowing for higher placement of the Licor 43 brand badge.

Meanwhile, the new golden detailing on the label reinforces the brand’s premium image, and the curved bottle embossing across the label is said to represent the smooth flavour of the liqueur.

The bottle also features crest embossing on the shoulder of the bottle, along with the signature on the back.

Cartils has worked on the design and packaging for a variety of spirits brands over recent years, including Wyborowa, De Kuyper, and Snow Queen Vodka.
