Members of thrash metal band Anthrax have released their own brand of Bourbon, called Indians
The Bourbon, called Indians, pays homage to the band’s 1987 single of the same name and is exclusively available in a limited number of US states.
The band teamed-up with Kentucky-based Jefferson’s Bourbon to create the bottling, which is sold with a signed piece of stave from the barrel in which the whiskey was aged.
“We’ve been wanting to come up with a special item like this, something that was unusual, one-of-a-kind, not a t-shirt or hoodie or poster, and Indians was perfect,” band’s bassist Frank Bello told Loudwire.
Indians Bourbon is now available exclusively through the Atlantic City Bottle Company for US$75 a bottle.
It was revealed in September this year that Irish pop band The Script had bought a barrel from the Kilbeggan Distillery, sparking rumours members are planning to enter the Irish whiskey business.
