Martell partners with designers on TR exclusives
By Melita KielyCognac house Martell has collaborated with two fashion designers, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Jason Wu, to launch two travel retail exclusive designs in time for Christmas.
Martell VSOP Paris Style Limited Edition by fashion designer Jean-Charles de CastelbajacThe two expressions are Martell VSOP Paris Style Limited Edition by Castelbajac and Martell Noblige Limited Edition Dressed by Wu.
Inspired by the Parisian district of Montmartre, Castelbajac’s design features a white base decorated with sketchings and comes.
Furthermore, Castelbajac has also created a tote bag in collaboration with Martell, which will also be available to consumers.
Wu’s creation aims to “reinvent” the Martell Noblige expression with “masculine and contemporary elements” inspired by the classic tuxedo.
“We are really excited to be working with artists as iconic as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Jason Wu,” commented Sandrine Tesniere, Pernod Ricard travel retail marketing manager. “These stylish and contemporary limited editions allow us to propose unique and vibrant product offers to travellers in Asia and stand out in stores at a key period of the year.
“We’re confident that this strong product offering will grab the attention of existing Martell drinkers and new buyers, who are either looking for something special for themselves or an exclusive and trendy gift.”
Martell VSOP Paris Style Limited Edition by Castelbajac is available now from selected airports in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Martell Noblige Limited Edition Dressed by Jason Wu will be available from Hong Kong International Airport, Lo Wu Border and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
