Pier A Harbour House, NYC
The team behind infamous Dead Rabbit have done it again, but this time they’ve taken over a whole 28,000 sq foot space of genius. With a huge cocktail bar serving cocktails on tap, a coffee bar, oysters and seafood spot and fine dining restaurant complete with outside waterfront terrace; this is set to become one of NYC’s hottest hangouts.

Bijou Balls and Booze, Antwerp
Renowned mixologist Ben Belmans is shaking up the scene in Belgium right now. With his newest bar he’s set out to break the preconception of snobbery associated with cocktail bars by keeping prices down, serving 60% smaller glasses and giving it a pub feel. This spot isn’t all about the cocktail however; with affordable tapas, Champagne by the glass and Belgian spirits, Bijou, Balls and Booze is certainly unique, and BarChick’s all over it.

Located in the ever-trendy 10th Arrondissement of Paris, this speakeasy style bar designed by Sherry Butt’s Sullivan Doh and Romain Mouellic is dedicated to the defence of the forgotten French spirits. We’re talking the reinvention of Armagnacs, Cognacs and brandies all showing what they can do in some oh-so-French cocktails, as well as some incredible spirits that they’re making in-house.

Miami Beach EDITION Hotel, Miami
The latest of Ian Schrager’s iconic EDITION hotels has hit Miami Beach and with it comes a plethora of epic bars. For views over the Atlantic it’s all about chic beachside hangout Ocean Bar, for old school Miami glam it’s to the hotel’s main bar and restaurant The Matador and for getting wild the Havana inspired Tropicale outdoor beach club is the new party spot du jour.

El Cartel Mexicana, Edinburgh
The Bon Vivant guys are getting their Mexicana on with their new Tequila and Mezcal den. It’s no reservations (obviously) but once you’re in expect great Mexican street food, slick service and the best frozen margaritas in the city.
